Job Overview

Info Wave Systems is looking for a skilled SQL Developer with 3–5 years of experience to join its remote technology team.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in SQL development, database programming, query optimization, stored procedures, database performance tuning, and data management. The candidate will work closely with development and business teams to build reliable, scalable, and high-performance database solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries.
2. Create and maintain Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers, and Tables.
3. Design and implement database solutions based on business requirements.
4. Perform SQL query optimization and database performance tuning.
5. Analyze execution plans and identify performance bottlenecks.
6. Create appropriate indexes to improve database performance.
7. Develop data extraction, transformation, and validation queries.
8. Troubleshoot database and SQL-related issues.
9. Perform data migration and data integration activities.
10. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
11. Work with developers, analysts, QA teams, and other technical stakeholders.
12. Participate in database design and development activities.
13. Support production environments and resolve database-related issues.
14. Monitor database performance and recommend improvements.
15. Participate in code reviews and follow database development best practices.
16. Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
17. Work effectively with remote and cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

1. 3–5 years of professional experience in SQL/Database Development.
2. Strong knowledge of SQL queries and relational databases.
3. Hands-on experience with complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions.
4. Strong experience with Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, and Triggers.
5. Knowledge of database normalization and database design.
6. Experience with query optimization and performance tuning.
7. Good understanding of indexes and execution plans.
8. Experience working with large datasets.
9. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
10. Good understanding of data integrity and validation.
11. Ability to analyze business requirements and convert them into database solutions.
12. Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

Educational Qualification

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
2. B.Tech/B.E./MCA/M.Sc. or equivalent qualification preferred.
