For this role, the company is looking for an experienced Python Developer who can contribute to backend application development, API development, database management, system integration, debugging, and performance optimization.

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with 4–5 years of professional experience to join our development team in Indore.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Python and backend development, along with expertise in frameworks, REST APIs, databases, Git, testing, and application performance. The candidate should be capable of independently handling development tasks and contributing to technical decisions.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Python.
2. Design and develop scalable and secure RESTful APIs.
3. Work with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
4. Design and optimize database structures and queries.
5. Work with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other databases.
6. Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
7. Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
8. Identify and resolve application bugs and production issues.
9. Perform application performance optimization.
10. Develop unit tests and participate in software testing.
11. Conduct code reviews and maintain coding standards.
12. Work with Git/GitHub for source-code management.
13. Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, UI/UX teams, and project managers.
14. Participate in requirement analysis and technical discussions.
15. Contribute to application architecture and technical design decisions.
16. Implement security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
17. Monitor and troubleshoot backend applications.
18. Support deployment and maintenance of applications.
19. Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance when required.
20. Stay updated with current Python frameworks, tools, and backend development practices.

Technical Skills

1. 4–5 years of professional experience in Python development.
2. Strong knowledge of Core Python.
3. Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
4. Strong experience with Django, Flask, and/or FastAPI.
5. Hands-on experience in REST API development.
6. Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
7. Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and/or MongoDB.
8. Experience with API authentication methods such as JWT/OAuth.
9. Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
10. Experience with Git/GitHub.
11. Knowledge of unit testing and debugging.
12. Understanding of application security and performance optimization.
13. Experience with Docker is preferred.
14. Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms is an advantage.
15. Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments is preferred.
16. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, BCA, B.Tech, or a related field.
2. Experience developing enterprise-level or scalable web applications.
3. Experience working with microservices architecture is an advantage.
4. Experience with cloud-based application deployment.
5. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
