Oracle HCM Functional Consultant – ORC

Hiking IT is an IT and technology solutions organization focused on connecting skilled professionals with opportunities across enterprise technology domains. We are looking for an experienced Oracle HCM Functional Consultant with strong Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) expertise to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Gather and analyze business requirements related to Oracle HCM and Recruiting.
2. Configure and support Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) modules and related HCM processes.
3. Translate business requirements into effective Oracle HCM functional solutions.
4. Conduct requirement workshops, process discussions, and solution demonstrations with business stakeholders.
5. Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scenarios, and user documentation.
6. Perform functional testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
7. Troubleshoot functional issues and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.
8. Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.
9. Work on integrations between Oracle HCM and other enterprise applications.
10. Provide production support and resolve incidents within agreed timelines.
11. Identify opportunities to improve and streamline existing HCM processes.
12. Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, IT, and other stakeholders throughout the implementation or support lifecycle.
13. Support deployment, post-go-live stabilization, and continuous improvement activities.

Good to Have

1. Oracle HCM Cloud certification.
2. Experience working on end-to-end Oracle HCM implementations.
3. Exposure to additional Oracle HCM modules such as Core HR, Absence, Compensation, Talent, or Performance.
4. Experience working in Agile/project-based environments.
5. Knowledge of Oracle HCM reporting and related tools.

Strong ORC knowledge, ownership, communication skills, and problem-solving ability will be highly valued.

1. 8+ years of overall experience in Oracle HCM Functional roles.
2. Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC).
3. Good understanding of Oracle HCM business processes and HR operations.
4. Experience in Oracle HCM Cloud configuration and functional implementation.
5. Strong knowledge of recruitment and talent acquisition processes.
6. Experience in requirement gathering, functional design, configuration, testing, and production support.
7. Good understanding of Oracle HCM integrations and data flows.
8. Ability to prepare functional documents and communicate solutions clearly.
9. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
10. Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
11. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
