Job Overview

HCLTech is looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer with 6+ years of experience to design, implement, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in cloud platforms, automation, DevOps, security, networking, and cloud migration.

Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure.

Manage AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments.

Plan and execute cloud migration and modernization projects.

Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools.

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Manage Docker and Kubernetes environments.

Configure cloud networking, compute, storage, and database services.

Implement IAM, security, monitoring, and governance practices.

Monitor cloud environments and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.

Optimize cloud resources for performance, availability, and cost.

Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.

Automate repetitive infrastructure and operational tasks.

Collaborate with DevOps, development, security, and architecture teams.

Maintain technical documentation and cloud standards.

1. 6+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure, or related roles.
2. Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
3. Experience designing and managing enterprise cloud infrastructure.
4. Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, IAM, and monitoring.
5. Hands-on experience with Terraform or other IaC tools.
6. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
7. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
8. Experience with cloud migration and modernization projects.
9. Good scripting and automation skills using Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
10. Knowledge of high availability, backup, and disaster recovery.
11. Experience with cloud performance and cost optimization.
12. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
13. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Qualification

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 6+ years of relevant experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or IT Infrastructure.
3. AWS, Azure, or GCP certification is preferred.
4. Terraform, Kubernetes, or DevOps certification is an added advantage.
5. Strong understanding of cloud architecture, automation, security, and infrastructure management.
